彗星承诺计划

The 彗星承诺计划 helps eligible students pay for their education by covering the cost of tuition when federal grants fall short.  This program is intended to remove economic barriers and to provide a pathway for Coconino 社区 College students to 完成ir certificate and/or degree. 

合格标准

• Must be a resident of Coconino County AND;
• Must have graduated from a Coconino County high school or equivalent (e.g., Home School, GED) AND;
• Must enroll in six or more credits as a first-time certificate or degree-seeking student, AND;
• Must be awarded any amount of Federal Pell Grant (determined by the FAFSA form) OR;
  • Be a qualifying non-citizen student (undocumented or Dreamer status) OR:
  • Have parents who are unable to sign the FAFSA form (must submit additional documentation required by the CCC 金融援助 Office); AND,
• 必须保持 Satisfactory Academic Progress as defined by the CCC 金融援助 Office while attending CCC.

• Apply for admission to CCC 
• 填写FAFSA表格 or
  • If you are a student who is a qualified non-citizen student (undocumented and Dreamer status), 完成 彗星承诺表格
  • If your parents are unable to sign the FAFSA, 完成 彗星承诺表格
• Contact an Academic Advisor (推荐)
• Register for at least six credit hours

在应用

• Turn in required documents to the CCC 金融援助 Office
  • Click on 金融援助 > Eligibility > 金融援助 Year 2023-2024
  • Follow the instructions to complete your Unsatisfied Requirements
• You will be awarded all Federal 金融援助, including Pell 奖助金, that you qualify for
• You will be awarded a 彗星的承诺 scholarship for any tuition that the Pell Grant does not cover
